Bert Ranum is Senior of Counsel at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A., a 300-attorney law firm based in Minneapolis, with offices in Bismarck, Des Moines, Fargo, Mankato, St. Paul, Saltillo, Mexico, and Shanghai, China. He has practiced law at Fredrikson for over 36 years, advising both start-up and established companies in corporate and securities related matters including venture capital financing, public offerings, corporate governance, mergers, acquisitions and employment compensation. He is a past chair of the business law section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and a past chair of the Securities Department at Fredrikson. He is working with RanTran, Inc. as an independent contractor and not an employee.
